I love reading, writing and riding and am a devoted member of both the Saskatchewan Writer’s Guild and the Appaloosa Horse Club. Horses have been my passion since riding to country school at the age of eight and well before. I find that my riding and my writing often feed off of each other.
About the author – Meet Gayle
Hey! For all of you out there who I haven’t had the pleasure of meeting yet, I write historical fiction in Treaty 6 Territory (Saskatoon, SK) and on the Homeland of the Métis. After years of teaching in First Nations Classrooms and as an ESL instructor, I’ve settled down to a life where I now divide my time between my writing and my grandchildren in Saskatoon and my husband, my Appaloosa horse, Truman and our dog, Nanuk on our farm in Northeast Saskatchewan.
